- Inviting You to be a Healthy and Whole Disciple of Jesus
What to Expect When You Visit Grace

We're so glad you are considering visiting us at Grace.  We would love to get to know you!  You can learn a lot about Grace on this page and throughout this website.  If you should have any questions, please email us by clicking "Contact Us" in the links above.

Worship Services

There are three Sunday morning worship services available at Grace United Methodist Church.  All of these services are held in the sanctuary at our main building.  Some will dress up and some will dress down, just come as you are most comfortable and join us:

Blended Worship Service - 8:30 and 11:00 AM - We call it blended worship because we blend traditional elements of liturgical worship (hymns, a call to worship, the Gloria Patri) with modern aspects (praise and worship choruses, musical offerings, video, etc.).

Praise & Worship - 10:00 AM - The service begins with praise and worship music led by one of our praise bands - an ensemble of vocalists and musicians playing guitars, drums, keyboards, and more.  This lay-led service is less formal and studies the same scripture our children are studying in Sunday School (The R.O.C.K.).

Parking

Visitor parking spaces are available in the back of the church.  Our Connections Center is located just inside the double doors in the east entry at the rear of the church building.  A greeter will be there to welcome you with a gift and answer any questions you may have about worship or small groups at Grace.

Sunday School

Sunday School classes are provided for all ages at 9:45 AM.  You can learn more about our Sunday School classes by clicking here.

Communion Services

Sunday mornings at both services, generally the first Sunday of the month at 8:30, 10:00 & 11:00 AM. The communion table of the United Methodist Church is an open table. You do not have to be a member of the church to partake. The invitation to the table is an invitation to a personal and lasting relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Everyone is welcomed at the table. This includes persons of any age.  Communion is also offered in our West Narthex each Sunday morning.

Nursery for Infants & Toddlers

A nursery is provided during all worship services for toddlers and infants.  The nursery is located in our preschool wing in room C6/C7.  Pagers are available for parents so that you may be contacted if necessary.  Find out more about our nursery here.

Children
The Children's Ministry at Grace offers programs for children from three years old through fifth grade.  A children's bulletin is available for all children attending the Sunday morning worship services.  Our 8:30 and 11:00 AM worship services include the "ABC Club" for all children. They are invited to come to the front of the sanctuary for a children's sermon and prayer.  After the "ABC Club" most children exit the sanctuary to attend Playful Praise (ages three through pre-kindergarten) or Children's Church (kindergarten through 5th grade).  There is no Children's Church on Communion Sunday.  Learn more about our great programming for kids by clicking here.

Special Needs Children

We welcome families with special needs children. SHEEP (Shepherding, Helping, Encouraging, Empowering, Providing) is a program at Grace that provides children with special needs a shepherd to assist them in participating in all of our ministries and programs. Find out more about this program at www.graceumc.net/sheep.
