Yoga at Grace
 
Yoga at Grace is taught by Leighanne Buchanan, a Christian instructor.  Leighanne has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. She is a certified yoga teacher dedicated to teaching asana, pranayama, and Christian meditation since 1998.
   
All skill levels are invited to take part in this wonderful exercise for body, mind, and spirit. Classes are hosted by Grace United Methodist Church and take place at the Grace UMC Family Life Center (on Mt. Juliet Road).  Please silence mobile phones prior to class so that we can focus our hearts and minds on our practice
 
 
BASIC YOGA CLASSES
Monday Morning Class - 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM
Monday Evening Class - 6:30 to 7:30 PM
*Special Classes may be offered for an additional fee throughout the year
  • $20 per month for Basic Yoga (day or night, you can alternate between day and night classes)
  • If paying by the class as a drop-in student, cost is $8 per class
  • Financial assistance may be available, see Leighanne for details
  • A portion of class proceeds are donated to Grace
 
* ADVANCED YOGA
Mondays - 5:45 to 6:15 PM
  • $3 per class, Drop in anytime
  • Join us for this energetic yoga class full of Sun Salutations and fun advanced yoga poses
 
* PRENATAL YOGA FOR MOMS TO BE 
Mondays - 7:30 to 8:30 PM
Summer Session #1: June 7 - July 12
Summer Session #2 : July 19 - August 23
  • $60 per 7 Week Session (special reduced rate of $12 for full or part-time students and single moms)
  • Please register for this special class by calling Leighanne at 788-9731, no yoga experience is necessary

WHAT TO BRING
  • Wear comfortable clothes
  • Bring your yoga mat if you have one (extra mats are available if you do not have one)
  • Additional props are provided by the church (blankets, blocks, sand bags, and straps) for your convenience
  • There is no need to register, simply bring payment to class and sign in at the door (please arrive a few minutes early to discuss any medical conditions with Leighanne prior to class)
  • Classes cater to all skill levels, beginners are welcome!
