Children's Ministries at Grace

On Wednesdays evenings from 5:15 p.m. - 6:30 PM girls and boys in the 5th grade are invited to take part in a Bible study entitled LIVE B.I.G. We meet from 5:15 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. for pizza and our Bible study is 5:45 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

 

A $3 weekly donation for dinner is appreciated but not necessary to attend.

 

This study takes place during the school year in the children's wing in room C5 and is led by Whitney Simpson (whitneyandtroy@gmail.com) and Colleen Friddell. Contact Director of Children's Ministries, Marlene Ssebulime for more information at marlene@graceumc.net.

All children ages three through 4th grade are invited to join us as we have dinner together, fellowship, and work on our mission project.
 
Each Wednesday night during Pizza With a Purpose, children will have the opportunity to participate in the BackPack program, in partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank. The kids stuff food bags that are distributed to 3 elementary school in Wilson County each Friday to needy children identified by the teachers and guidance counselors. PWAP is from 6 to 6:30 PM in the Children's Church room. 
 
A weekly $3 donation to cover the cost of dinner is appreciated but not necessary to attend.

All children ages kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to participate in the Children's Choir. This group performs a Christmas musical, an Easter musical, and performs during worship services throughout the year.
 
Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary.

The Cherub Choir is for children ages three through pre-kindergarten. This choir performs in worship services throughout the year and are part of our Easter and Christmas musical.

 

Practices are held on Wednesdays from 6:30 – 7:00 PM in Bible Seekers classroom C1.
(if you have a kindergartner who you feel is not ready for Children’s Choir, they may stay in Cherubs this year)
