Vacation Bible School

 
      

 Vacation Bible School is a week long experience each summer where

children deepen their understanding of God's love and calling on their lives.

 
 
 
VBS 2012
OPERATION OVERBOARD
JUNE 11-15
6 - 8:30 PM
 

Kids will dare to go deep with God at Operation Overboard. At VBS 2012, we'll rotate through HIGH TIDE HANGOUT, AQUATIC ARTS, THE UNDERWATER PASSAGE, DIVER'S DINER AND CHORAL REEF.
 
Registration is open to children age 4 through graduating 5th graders. For more information or to register, visit http://overboard.cokesburyvbs.com/GraceUMC.
 
There is a suggested donation of $10/child (max $20/family) for the VBS t-shirt and supplies. However, all are welcome whether you make a donation or not.
 
Sign up by Friday, June 1 so we can be prepared with complete supplies for all children and to guarantee your spot!

 Procedures for Safe Ministry at Vacation Bible School 

Your child’s safety is of the utmost importance to us, therefore we follow the procedures below:

 1.  The “Two-Adult Rule”.

There will be 2 adults present at all times.  

2.  Numbered Wristbands.

Children will be given a numbered wristband and parents will be given a matching numbered wristband.  When the child is picked up, parents much show their wristband whose number matches the child’s wristband. No child will be released to an adult without the matching wristband.

3.  No Workers under the age of 18 without adults present.

No child will be supervised by youth without adults present.
